About this product
Location: see where a member is really connecting from.
Moderators open Location from any member's avatar menu and get a clear card with the approximate city, region and country behind that member's IP address, their local time, a map, the network they are on, and a warning when it does not match the country on their profile. Built for keeping your chat safe: lookups are cached, limited by rank and logged for the site owner.
Location card with flag, city, region and country, opened from the avatar menu
Map (OpenStreetMap) with links to OpenStreetMap and Google Maps
Local time and time zone, postal code, coordinates and network (ISP and ASN)
Warning when the IP country differs from the country on the member's profile
Distance between the member and the staff member looking them up
Free location services built in (ipwho.is, ipinfo.io, ipapi.co) with automatic fallback and optional API keys
Lookups cached from 1 hour to 30 days, so the free limits last longer
Clear notices for local or private network addresses and members with no IP yet
Rank protection: staff can only look up members ranked below them
Choose which rank sees the full IP address; lower ranks see a masked one
Lookup log of who looked up whom, kept for 30 days
One-click copy of the IP address
