When someone signs in from a new device, the member immediately gets a private message and a bell notification with every detail: date and time, browser, operating system and device type, IP address, city, region and country with a map link, internet provider, and a warning when the connection looks like a VPN, proxy or hosting network.
The new "Login & devices" page lists every device the member is signed in on, with location, IP and last activity, and the current device is clearly marked.
From there members can rename a device, log out any single device, or log out all other devices at once for a guaranteed lock-out. A login history shows new logins, new locations and log-outs, and each member chooses which alerts they receive, including an optional alert when a known device appears from a new IP. Admins can switch location lookup on or off, choose who can use the feature, set how long history is kept and how often devices check in, and see stats.
Staff can also look up any member's devices and log them out everywhere. Existing members aren't flooded with alerts after you install it. Location data comes from ip-api.com, whose free tier is for non-commercial use only.
